The Gods created 4 Demi-Planes each with a thousand mile pillar of Darksteel through the center. Sealed at the bottom of each of these rods were the four Moirai
Euer finds the Animist of one of the Prison-Planes and his movement slowly brings Ashveil to life
A cataclysmic event caused by Thalia Xerok, where the surface of Tharassa was razed by an intense inferno.
HumanitiesĀ dependance on theĀ GodsĀ caused an apocalyptic breakdown of reality as the gods fell, filling the world with death and undeath.
Without the magic of it's creators sustaining it, the 4 Prison-Planes fell apart, with the Darksteel rods and those it bound falling free into Asteanos. Ashveil survived as the plane developed it's own Leylinesto support its structure.
Divinity was reformed into theĀ Divine Spark, inherited by the long livedĀ DragonsĀ who took the mantle of gods, although mortal worship was much more fickle.
Eyron enacted an eradication of the gods, attempting to claim their power in an ascent towards being the one true god.
A group of adventurers sealed Eyron in an interlocking series of seals, ushering in the age of man.
With the sudden return ofĀ AetherĀ and it's combination with theĀ Nano-Virus. The technological advancements of the world rapidly collapsed.
The Divine Spark once again reformed, and the birth of the first god of this new era is used as a marker for the new age.

The Heroes of the Seal kill Yharim
An accident in Echo, Obsidian City in the deepest parts of Ashveil led to the freeing of Xerok's heart from it's prison in lower Ashveil. As part of the effort to prevent this catastrophe the light goddess attempted to help the citizens defend against the opening seal. Their efforts were in vain as Thalia Xerok broke free and with a burst of overwhelming aether superheated the city, killing the inhabitants and the out of place goddess.
