When to Use:
When you need to adjust your prepared spells in the heat of the moment.
How to Execute:
Roll +INT to attempt to prepare a spell on the fly.
Outcomes:
- 4-: You stumble over your resources failing to prepare a spell and forget a spell you have prepared.
- 9-13: You prepare a spell from your known spells, but with an additional cost (choose one):
- You are left vulnerable to counteraction.
- You forget another spell you had prepared.
- The spell is prepared poorly, and you gain disadvantage when casting it. (-1)
- 14+: You prepare the spell without consequence.
