Ifrit is the PrimordialsPhoenix, often referred to as the "Lord Phoenix" or "The Phoenix" in certain scriptures. Ifrit is well knownโparticularly on Tharassa, and Falvadaโand worshiped by many as a preeminent manifestation of flame and renewal. Ifrit is most often depicted as a firebird in the shape of a bird of prey.
Ifrit is a natural Shapeshifter taking many forms, typically sticking to certain forms for each iteration.
As of the current iteration (2785 a.a.) Ifrit takes the form as an amorphous bird-shaped fire. As most Primordials, Ifrit has a humanoid formโappearing as a 7ft. tall slender man, with medium-dark tanned skin, sharp facial features including pointy ears, eyes, and a tall pointed nose. Ifrit also has long well kept hair with a fiery gradient with the lightest colors at the top of the head, darkening toward the ends. Ifrit only wears nice suits, usually either in shiny red colors, with black accents and gold jewelry, or soot black with fiery accents and gold jewelry. This form also has large fiery wings despite being humanoid.
Personality
Ifrit is irritable and introverted, having grown dissatisfied with mortals' tendency to repeat mistakes throughout the eras. Ifrit will blatantly disrespect and insult anyone not found to be "worth respecting"โa list containing almost exclusively other immortals, although gradually diminishing. Through time with Aelfyir, Ifrit has grown a refreshed perspective toward mortals and has come to learn a few mortals as comrades, though is still quick to lash out toward anyone deemed unsatisfactory.
Ifrit stands strongly with the ideals of resilience and self-driven action, believing that neigh all negative situations can be recovered from. These ideals are highlighted by his early interaction with Aelfyir, constantly pushing the timid half-elf to be more self-reliant and stop being a people pleaser albeit with a hostile tone.
Abilities
Ifrit has remarkable mastery over fire magic. This mastery extends to esoteric applications of fire magic, particularly using it as a means of healing magic.
Ifrit is a primordial, thusly is subject to immortality through reincarnation. Ifrit's reincarnations are particularly fast, and he retains his memories between iterations.
Fame & Recognition
As the progenitor phoenix, Ifrit is often revered and worshiped as a powerful source of magic, associated with flames and rebirth. Particularly a former villageโApala, Falvadaโwas founded around the final resting place of a former incarnation of Ifrit, and became a prominent place of worship, for not only Ifrit but all phoenix. Ifrit often makes deals with denizens of Apala to bestow the powers of a phoenix.
During Ifrit's travels with Aelfyir as a traveling bard, they have grown a rather heroic reputation for serving to end The Yharim Conflict. The duo's travels has resulted in a nock off set of bards, known as Alf and Ofart who retell their stories.
Relationships
Hosts
As a primordial, Ifrit's has inhabited a number of mortals throughout time. Being an Avatar of Ifrit is regarded as a terrible curse, as he has a distaste for being sealed in a mortal's body, and typically overwhelms them with magic destroying both so that he can reincarnate. Ifrit does have a few notable hosts, who survived long enough to become notable figures.
